Welcome to Renner Dance Company where we strive to provide our students an incredible dancing experience in a positive, family atmosphere.
Our studio is located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and offers professional instruction that is rooted in strong ballet technique. We teach our students to push themselves and work as hard as they can while gaining confidence and growing from their dance experience.
Renner Dance Company is proud to include the AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE® National Training Curriculum – a breakthrough 9 level program that combines excellent artistic training with the basics of dancer health and child development. The ABT® National Training Curriculum consists of a comprehensive set of age-appropriate, outcome-based guidelines to provide the highest quality ballet training to dance students of all ages and skill levels.

A competitive dance company where kids can be kids.
Our Company members train very hard and develop a strong work ethic, but they also have fun along the way while building lifelong friendships and gaining valuable experiences! We have put careful thought and care into developing a competitive dance program that allows kids to be kids, but also encourages and supports the training necessary for any member that wants to pursue dance professionally – by focusing on technical elements and a strong base in ballet.
Our Company members have won numerous regional and national titles, Critics’ Choice awards, Outstanding Performer recognitions and have received high scores from competitions including NYCDA, Jump, Showstopper, Radix, Showbiz, Believe and Starpower among others. We have been awarded the Technique Award at Starpower, which recognizes the highest technical score during competition, and we have had Company members attend the Joffrey Ballet as well as the Alvin Ailey summer intensive programs.
